About Us

Our vision is to serve the northern Toastmasters clubs as well as the community at large.

Based out of Prince George, BC, Community North Advanced Toastmasters Club (CNAT) #2741808 - is an Advanced Club which serves Northern BC.

We meet bi-monthly. Our members require a Competent Communicator designation or above - they do not need to be active Toastmasters in another Toastmasters club.  We have a mix of experience levels, educational designations, professional backgrounds with one common thread: we are Toastmasters keeners.

The Community North Advanced Toastmasters club would like to invite you to our Wednesday April 17 meeting held at the College of New Caledonia            (Room 1-306) from 7:00-8:45pm. If you can’t attend in person please join us via the Zoom meeting link https://zoom.us/j/557760125

Zoom is the leader in modern enterprise video communications, with an easy, reliable cloud platform for video and audio conferencing, chat, and webinars across mobile, desktop, and room systems. Zoom Rooms is the original software-based conference room solution used around the world in board, conference, huddle, and training rooms, as well as executive offices and classrooms. The focus of the meeting will be on the following two educational sessions (20-30 mins ea) as follows:

  • The Management Side of Toastmasters” by Mimi Vanderheide (guest speaker via Zoom) .  Being mindful and aware of how you move through your day can give you a clue as to your own management style. By digging in a bit more, let’s see if we can learn how to grab our projects for Uber efficiency.
  • Why Mentor” by Kerry Deschamps (CNAT member). A practical session on why mentoring club members is so valuable. Includes components of the Successful Club Mentoring module and the new Pathways Mentoring materials.

I hope you will attend in person or via Zoom and help us by inviting others from your home club. Whether a novice or experienced member, this is sure to be a fun and educational evening.
